Overview
East Austin Studio Tour, or simply EAST, is an annual art event centered around east Austin, Texas that focuses on showcasing smaller/local artists and their work.
Objective
The objective was to create a comprehensive and prospective branding system that the art event East Austin Studio Tour, could potentially and successfully utilize for each studio location.
Approach
The main concept behind the rebrand was the use of squares combined with the acronym for the event. Because the overall locations for the studios are relatively in more urban settings and neighborhoods, the motif was centered around city block maps and urban planning charts.
